Oil & Gas Contract Win

Concept Steels has announced a major contract win to supply AISI4130 steel to one of their existing international petrochemical clients. 

Having previously fulfilled large orders destined for the UK market for this customer, Concept Steels will now supply AISI4130 steel to the value of £750k directly to their customer’s operation in Brazil.  Supported by multi-lingual staff, Concept Steels will manage the complete order process from sourcing, to forging, machining and heat-treatment of the specialist steel to customer specification followed by in-house quality testing and certification to the customer’s exacting quality standards.   

Concept Steels has seen significant growth over the last couple of years and Managing Director, Ian Austin believes that this stems from the company’s ability to provide customers with what they want, when they want it.

Commenting on the contract win, Ian said “Supplying materials such as specialist forgings and steels for use in the Oil & Gas sector is one of the growth areas for us, and it is particularly rewarding to win another major contract from an existing customer”.
